CAN'T THEY JUST STAY LITTLE???

These are some pictures that we had taken about a month ago of Dax in his blessing outfit. We got so many cute ones but these are a few of my favorites!

WeEk iN ReViEw . . .

This week has been a pretty normal one . . . Griff helped out with the laundry (I was trying to keep his mind off of the fact that Mason was not home) he loves to put the wet clothes into the dryer and pour the soap into the washer. I guess i don't really think to have him help me a lot, but when I do he is sooo excited! (I'll have to remember that!)

Daxon is now four months and trying to roll over! He is getting pretty close, but hasn't quite mastered it yet!

We made "frosting cookies" (sugar cookies) and the boys of course love to lick the beaters. Griff was itchin for one the entire time and when he finally got his, he had a big smile and kept saying "happy" over and over! I think they like eating the dough more than making the cookies . . . who doesn't?

The week ended with me and Dax heading up to Logan for the weekend. My sister JULIE ran the 1/2 marathon on saturday morning. I am so amazed . . . she has a 6 month old baby and still finds the time and energy to train! It was a lot of fun to watch her cross the finish line! (Of course I forgot my camera!) Later that afternoon the girls (Me, my mom, 2 sisters & sis -in -law) headed out to go shopping for Julie's birthday. It was a great time as usual and I can't wait to do it again!

SICK KIDS . . .

I really hate it when my kids are sick. For two reasons . . . 1 - well, they are sick! And I feel so bad that they don't understand why they feel so crappy, and why mom can't make it better. 2 My house becomes a complete disaster and I feel like a zombie :( So long story short, Mase and Griff have hand, foot and mouth (a crummy virus that gives them sores in their mouths and little blister looking bumps on their hands and feet). This is the first time since Daxon was born that they have been sick together, at the same time . . . and let me tell ya it sucks! ( Can you tell I've had a long day???) It has pretty much involved screaming, crying kids that have sore mouths and are starving because EVERYTHING hurts to eat! OK I might be being a little dramatic, but as I look back on the day . . . not much! Anyway, I really hope my little buddies get feeling better soon . . . for their sake as well as my sanity:)

Griffin is 2!!!

Yesterday was Griffins 2nd birthday! He is getting so big . . . and is definitely starting the terrible two's! Not that he is terrible, but I HAVE noticed a change in his little personality over the past few weeks. He used to be my easy going, go with the flow little guy. Not any more! He can throw a tantrum with the best of em' and can be quite demanding, but still oh so sweet! Lately Griff loves buses, trucks, tractors, trailers, and anything that hooks together. He walks around the house saying "hook" over and over again until you help him hook together whatever it is that he is playing with. He must have his blankie and binkie at all times, or at least know where they are. He loves apple juice! He drinks the stuff like it's going out of style. He also loves top ramen and treats! He has recently developed a fear of bugs, which can be fun when you live out in mosquito country :) (Notice the 4 mosquito bites on his forehead) I think most of all he loves his brothers!

For Griff's birthday we went to the aquatic center. This was his first time in a big pool, and he loved it! Later that evening we had presents and cake and ice cream. It was so fun to see his excitement as he opened his presents! Oh to be a kid again! Happy birthday Griff!

DISCOVERY GATEWAY

Posted by Picasa

DISCOVERY GATEWAY . . . CONTINUED

First of all as you can see, my camera is working again :) Thanks Kasey!!!

We had the best day at the Gateway! We started out at the Discovery museum . . . which my kids absolutely loved! Mason had so much fun at the "grocery store" but would not "buy" any bananas because he said that they were not ripe enough . . . funny boy! Griff also liked the grocery store but his favorite was the baby doll! He could not get enough and didn't want to put it down. He would go back and forth between the stroller and the cradle and he really just loved this little baby! It was so cute! Needless to say it has been 2 days since we went . . . and he now has his own baby and stroller! Thanks to Grandma kim and an early birthday present ( and don't worry, daddy approved :) ) After the museum we headed over to Applebee's for lunch. I would say we did pretty good for having a table with 5 adults, 3 kids in booster seats and 2 babies. After lunch we went back to the museum for awhile and then it was over to the fountains to play in the water and have some ice cream! There was a lot more watching than playing going on at the fountains, but they still had fun!

Griffin was just lovin Maddie

SO CUTE! (Mason & Ty)

I know it's been awhile since my last post and I was planning on doing one today (with pictures of our trip to Discovery Gateway . . . so fun btw!) . . . but my camera is BROKEN :( So, due to the sad news and the fact that I am joining the twilight bandwagon (finally) I probably won't have any new or fun posts in awhile . . . I am going to try to get the camera fixed so we will see . . . note to self - don't let 4 year old boys take pictures with nice camera! Results are camera being dropped at Applebee's . . .
