I can hardly believe that my baby is 3 months old! Last night we moved him out of our room (and out of his bassinet) into his "big crib" in his own room. I was a little nervous that he would wake up and I wouldn't be able to hear him crying ( we don't have a monitor at the moment . . . well we do but it's in Griffs room . . . ) so I slept in his room with him. I know, it kinda defeats the purpose of moving him to his own room! But he slept perfectly ALL NIGHT so I guess I can relax :) I think he likes having more room . . . and I will like getting my room back to looking more adult-like again.
I thought this was so cute! Dax just loves his big brothers!

SLIME TIME
I have had a few requests for the slime recipe . . . so here it is
4 oz elmers glue (one small bottle)
1/2 cup cold water
food coloring
*Mix these 3 ingrediants together then add
1/2 cup warm water
2-4 tsp. borax ( this is a laundry booster I got at walmart in laundry soap isle)
*You can add borax 1tsp at a time until all liqiud is absorbed and it turns to slime
It is much more fun if you get into it and mix with your hands :)
If you want more fun ideas for your kids check out my friend Melissa's blog @ http://www.jmheanderson.blogspot.com/.

"Ni - Night"
The other day I was in the kitchen and I kept hearing Griff's little voice saying "ni - night" over and over. Finally I went to see what he was up to and he was laying on the stairs pretending to be asleep. I thought it was pretty darn cute and had to get a picture of it!

SpaRklE PaiNt and SLIME
I ran across an old friends blog the other day and she has the cutest ideas of fun thing to do with your kids . . . so we decided to try a couple of them this week! First it was sparkle paint! The boys had a lot of fun making this and then painting with it. It was kinda funny to see their different painting styles! Mason was very careful and made sure that his colors did not mix together. Griffin went wild and crazy and was splattering paint everywhere! That is for sure their personalities in their paintings!
The next day we made SLIME!!! Now Mason really liked this, but Griff was a bit more timid! It was actually pretty funny because once Griff's liquid turned into the slime . . . he got quite nervous and did not know what to think. He just kept saying "house" over and over because he wanted to go inside away from the slime! But once he saw that Mase was having fun with it he loosened up (kind of) and played with it.
Later that night we got the slime back out and Griff decided to put it om his head. Funny thing. Slime does not stick to hands or counter top, but DOES stick to hair. It was a bit like having gum in the hair! FUN!

DAXON'S BLESSING
Yesterday was Daxon's blessing day! We had a great day with family and Dax had a sweet little blessing by my Dad. I thought he looked so cute in his little white cargo shorts! It was so fun to see everyone . . . until the next gathering:)
Here's Dax waiting for his guests!

OH THE MEMORIES
I Had a couple cute friends do this on their blog and thought it was so cute so . . .
1. As a comment on my blog, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn't matter if you knew me a little or a lot, anything you remember!
2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It's actually pretty funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I'll assume you're playing the game and I'll come to your blog and leave one about you. If you don't want to play on your blog, or if you don't have a blog, I'll leave my memory of you in my comments.
EVERYBODY PLAY! I want to see what memories you have!!

LAGOON . . .
Today was our stake Lagoon day so we decided to take advantge and make a day of it. This was my kids first time to Lagoon and to be honest, neither Kasey or I have been there since high school! Mason loved just about all the rides in kiddie land, but the helicopter ride was his favorite because he could make it go really high! Griffin didn't care much for the rides, but loved the train and seeing all of the animals as we rode past them.
Griff being "cool" in daddy's sunglasses
Mason's favorite ride
He liked this one too!
Griff liked to ring the bell, but didn't like a stanger getting him off the boat and wouldn't get on any more rides after that!

Fun on the 4th
Everyone had a lot of fun at the local parade . . . as soon as the sirens went past! My poor little Mason is deathly afraid of loud noises and when the sirens were going past I thought he might be able to out scream them! But once they were gone everything was great and the boys were sad when it was over!
Grandpa Kent taught Mase to put his hand over his heart when the flag went past & griff was enjoying a little dad time.
This is what little Dax thought about the parade!
