Daxon is 2!

Daxon turned 2 a couple weeks ago. He seems so big and little at the same time! We decided to have a Dora and Diego themed party since they are who he is currently loving! He was so excited when he woke up from his nap to a Dora and Diego streamer hanging from his door. Little did he know there was a bunch more in the family room and of coarse the Diego cake and presents. I wish I could have caught the excitement on camera! It was so fun to do something just for him! Before the party started we went outside and attempted a little photo shoot . . . not such an easy thing to do with a two year old, but we got a few.

Once Kasey got home from work and grandma's and grandpa's came over we started presents. (Pretty much because Mason and Griffin couldn't wait ANY longer) Dax has always been such a Daddy's boy and today was no different. He loved to sit with Kasey while opening his presents and was not shy in telling his older brothers that they were HIS.

After we sang happy birthday to him, he kept saying "more, more!" Needless to say we ended up singing to him multiple times and he loved it!

Daxon is such a fun little guy to have around. He is so easy going and pretty much just goes with the flow. He loves watching Dora and Diego in the morning and will bring me the remote and then go sit on the couch and yell "Dora" or "Ci Ci" (for Alicia . . . the girl on Diego) until I turn it on. It's pretty funny. He thinks he is just as big as his brothers and will try to do whatever they do. He is my tender hearted little guy, always worried about anyone who is sad. In fact often times when the others are crying he is trying to comfort them (give them loves or give Navi her binki). We often times find ourselves cracking up at the things he says as he is learning to talk. We love you Dax and are so excited to keep watching you learn and grow!
