Easter Weekend

We had such a great Easter weekend! We started on Friday with dyeing the eggs which is always a fun and of coarse messy project. I think Dax especially loved it this year. He was so quiet and content the entire time and didn't want to stop when the eggs were done.

Then on Saturday we headed to my parents house for a delicious lunch and Easter egg hunt for the kids. With the yucky weather we ended up inside but the kids didn't seem to mind and ended up with way too much candy! Once Dax found his basket he could care less about finding and eggs. I mean really, who needs eggs when they have a basket full of chocolate?

Navi got to snuggle with Grandma while all of this was going on and I think they were both lovin it!

I think Dax and Maddie were both glad to have someone their size to be around. The big boys get to be a bit much for them sometimes and even though they really don't play together, you can usually find them right next to each other! (Usually Dax trying to touch or love Maddie and Maddie trying to swat him away :)

On Easter morning we tortured Mason and Griffin by making them wait for Daxon to wake up before they started the hunt. (They are up a good 2 hours before him so this was hard . . . but they survived) Once Dax was up we headed out to the garage were the Easter bunny had left baskets and a new hoodie for everyone. Then the hunt around the yard began and they found the new trampoline in the back yard! They were all super excited and spent much of the day jumping

And I had to throw in an easter shot of miss Navi who slept right through everything!
